My name is Andrés CM. I was orphaned at the age of five. My mother couldn't take care of us because of work, so I looked after my siblings. One day, when I was eight and in fourth grade, we were fortunate enough to find the SINSOLUKA Foundation. This was a huge help to my two siblings, Steven and Vanessa, and we benefited greatly from the foundation's support. Their assistance was fundamental to our personal growth. We didn't waste the opportunity they gave us with food, school supplies, and help with homework. This marked a turning point that motivated us to move forward. I imagine that without their help, our story would have been very different. My brother and I are currently pursuing university degrees, and it seems my sister will follow in our footsteps and continue her studies.
When I was in my sixth semester at university, I had a community service course. In this course, I had to carry out social service activities. When I found out about this, the SINSOLUKA Foundation immediately came to mind, and I decided to do that course at this institution because that's where my goals for self-improvement began. I wanted to give back to the foundation a little of what they did for me and my siblings when we were little.
I really enjoyed being able to help others; it reminds me of the time when my siblings and I used to come here and receive all this help. We also created good experiences here, and simply being able to contribute my help to the foundation was an experience that made me very happy.
My brother is studying Auditing at university, my sister is studying, I graduated with a degree in Business Administration and I work in a company that distributes educational materials.
